Hey everybody,
Welcome to my blog site 'Whatever Is, Is Right'! I am very excited to get this blog rolling, for I have been wanting to do something like this for a while and I now have the time/energy/ability to remember to do it.
So here's a bit about me. My name is Jon. I live and grew up in New Jersey. I love God and the Church that He founded, and try to put Him above everything else. Like all sinners, I fail at time, but with God's grace I get back up and try to become better again.
I have my parents and my sister for family, and they are just freakin awesome. I wouldn't be the person I am today without them.
I have a girlfriend named Maria, who lives in Poland currently. I am truly blessed to have such an amazing woman in my life. As of the writing of this article I will in one month's time be going to visit her and her beautiful country for the second time.
I graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and a minor in Philosophy.
I currently work at Quick Chek Food Corporation, a convenience store chain here in New Jersey, where I am training to be a store manager. I grew up in this business, which is why I ultimately came back after college graduation to work here, and I truly believe that it is the best business to work in.
I love watching movies. Mixed Martial Arts is my favorite sport. Videogames are always cool.
Most of all I just love my faith and strive every day to abide by it in all aspects of my life, including in all of the above-mentioned relationship and activities.
So now that you know a bit about me, I just want to tell you the purpose of this blog. As with all things that are Catholic, or meant to be Catholic in nature, this blog will be used to proclaim and defend the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ and, by extension, His One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. And the way in which I intend to do this is simply by discussing and addressing various events, situations, and thoughts that happen to pop up in my life.
You can expect a number of blog posts about bioethical issues and about Protestant-Catholic differences, as those are areas of particular interest to me. But it will be basically about anything that happens to come up. And if you, the reader, would like to talk about something then let me know and we can try to work that out.
Most of all, I should state that even though I'm coming at things from a Catholic perspective, this blog is really meant for anyone and everyone. Regardless of your religious belief or lack thereof, everyone is invited to come, read, comment, and discuss.
This blog's main concern, then, is of learning the truth and speaking the truth, and it is this blogger's belief that the truth comes entirely from our one and only God.
So if you have anything of interest you would like to talk about let me know and I will see if I can contribute to a discussion about it (no guarantees though, I'm not particularly bright ;) ). Otherwise I will come up with something myself.
